Community Night with YWCA Cambridge and Cambridge Black History Project

  • Lamplighter Brewing Co. - Taproom 284 Broadway Cambridge, MA, 02138 United States (map)

Join YWCA Cambridge and the Cambridge Black History Project for a special Black History Month gathering on Wednesday, February 19. This event will bring community members together to reflect on Black history in Cambridge and the stories that shape our city today.

Learn about Cantabrigians like Dr. Mary Crutchfield Wright Thompson—one of the first Black women to graduate from Tufts University Dental School—and Maria Baldwin, former principal of the Agassiz School (now the Baldwin School) and a dedicated social reformer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This event is taking place at Lamplighter Brewery (284 Broadway, Cambridge) in the back taproom.

Registration is encouraged but not required.
